After decades of travelling the world visiting reknowned art, architecture and design sites,  whilst seeking out the best gastronomy and staying in stunning properties, I have decided to share this knowledge by providing a travel service for kindred spirits. My initiative Culture • Travel • Design, provides design-led travel planning and booking for curious, contemporary cultural travellers. 

Over the years, I have established a solid curated list around the globe that I’m now happy to share. My work for you can be as simple as booking hotels, or itinerary planning for where to go, where to eat, art or design sites and openings, with hotels and accommodation vetted for their aesthetic integrity. If all you need is a recommended list of hotels, I now have access to partnerships for exclusive benefits such as upgrades and special perks, from Design Hotels to Belmond, small boutique properties, villas, the Aman and beyond. 

Wherever you are going there will be something to see: trips may include 20th & 21st century  architectural sites, a rundown of must-see exhibitions, or visit to an artist or designer’s workshop. In Vienna you may visit the apartment of Margarete Schütte-Lihotzy, the villa of Otto Wagner, and go to MAK before stopping in to Carl Auböck workshop to pick up some hand-crafted pieces. In Japan you may visit a crafts workshop, essential architecture sites across the country, cook with local chefs, or sit down to a specially-recommended kaiseki meal. Or you may wish to tour architect Geoffrey Bawa’s Sri Lanka, see the sites that inspired Isamu Noguchi across the world, experience contemporary and Meso-American architecture in Mexico, see Donald Judd’s Texas, counterculture sites in Arizona,  or Land Art in out-West America.

As my work expands, I will be offering tailored trips for young arts patron groups and collectors, cultural institution’s trustees, and hotel bookings surrounding destination art and design fairs. But all travel is covered -- from laid back beach or mountain trips with design at heart, to topline luxury travel -- from cities, country retreats, wellness escapes and more. Specialisms and networks include Europe, Japan, the Americas, Mexico and more.
